Deacon attends Mansion House banquet

The Deacon, Commander Nick Parry, accompanied by the Deacon's Lassie and the Clerk, attended the Worshipful Company of Gardeners' annual banquet on 6 February 2026. Held in the sumptuous surroundings of the Egyptian Hall within the Mansion House, the ingredients of the fine meal included Lady Mayor’s honey, taken from the two beehives originally installed on the roof of the Mansion House in 2020, very relevant to the wider work of the Worshipful Company within the City of London. Guests were entertained by skilful trumpeters, as well as the skilful oratory of The Right Honourable The Lord (Michael) Gove. Our best wishes to the Master, Alderman Robert Howard, for the remainder of his year in office.
