Let Glasgow Flourish Awards

24 February 2026

Following a round of judging held over July and August 2025, the ‘Let Glasgow Flourish’ Awards ceremony was held in Trades Hall on 24 February 2026. Guest of honour Lesley Watson, former presenter of the Beechgrove Garden and all-round horticulture expert, presented the awards.

The overall winner this year was Ardnamurchan, a Scottish restaurant on Hope Street, who won praise for the floral displays outside their restaurant, as well as the flowers and plants they nurtured in the vicinity.

Collecting the Robertson Silver Spade, restaurant manager Jean-Marc Ducasse said “We're very proud to have won The Robertson Silver Spade Award. We won the silver and gold in previous years so we’re over the moon to lift the big prize this year. The spade will have pride of place in our restaurant.”

Of the 72 winners, 14 were awarded a Gold Award, including The Corinthian Club, Grumpy Barista, Mharsanta, La Vita, Manuka, Merchant Chippie, The Argyll Hotel and The Islay Inn.

Commenting on the awards, the Collector of the House said “Congratulations to all of our winners. Thank you for making this beautiful city more beautiful than ever with your floral displays. Special congratulations to Ardnamurchan Restaurant and Bar on winning The Robertson Silver Spade and to all of the businesses who received bronze, silver and gold awards.”
